windsurf sails - David on 1/24/2004
I want to build a iceboat. Love the ice tender design. I would like to use a windsurfer rig (like on the Isabella). Any ideas? I have many windsurf sails, including 3 that fit into the size requirements for the ice tender.

Windsurfer sails have been used. All you have to do is make sure to use the standard Ice Tender mast then attach the wind surfer rig to it. Works just like the Isabella setup except the sail is in front of you.

Sorry I had to disable the message board because hackers loaded it with garbage!!!
